Osteogenesis Imperfecta

Osteogenesis imperfecta which is a known genetic disease in which bones are deformed.
7 year male child with right femur bone deformity operated multiple times came with difficulty in walking and deformity of right lower limb.
Operated with deformity correction and telescopic nailing of right femur. Telescopic Nails are specialised implant which grows as the child grows a these deformities need long time skeletal implantation to prevent fractures and development of deformities.
Child is walking pain free and fully functional now.
